  1. How do I scale engineering without funding?

    Grow what each engineer delivers before you grow how many there are. What to fix first, how to grow your own leaders, where AI fits, and when to make the next hire.

  2. Do I need to raise to hire more engineers?

    Usually not. The capacity is often already in the building. How to tell, what equity or debt would really cost you, and what to do first.

  3. On being lost

    On being lost! I am trying to sit with the feeling rather than chasing the next unknown to quash it. I have always hated being still, I have always continuously pushed forwards. Why?

  4. What is justice?

    What is justice? Why do we always speak of justice when we are failing to do the simple things that would prevent its need? And what is justice worth, coming from someone who passed sentence before he knew anything?

  5. When change has impact, what duty do we owe others?

    An introspection of recent work that has left me ethically and philosophically unsure. When changes you make have material impacts on others, what duties do we owe them, and where does that line stop?
